The Chi Walking technique emphasizes walking form—the proper and effective biomechanics of walking and draws from the movement principles of Tai Chi to make walking easier on the body. You’ll learn to use your core muscles to create whole body walking, reducing the stress and strain on your hips, back, legs, knees and feet. Discover how sound biomechanics, improved posture and using your core helps you move with less effort¬ in a way that is good for your whole body.
In this class you will learn the essential foundation skills for your Chi Walking practice. You will be guided through exercises and drills designed to leave you with a clear sense of what the Chi Walking technique feels like in your body.

The class is appropriate for beginners and experienced walkers. There will be some walking but only enough to learn and feel the basics of Chi Walking

NOTE: A Chi Running class is offered in the morning.
Workshop is 2.5 hours from1 p.m. –3:30 p.m. and depending on weather conditions will be held either on the outdoor track or the indoor track. . Dress in layers and bring water, any snacks you may need, sunscreen etc. Parking and meeting location details will be emailed to you. Space is limited so register early to reserve a spot.
Cancel 14 days before the workshop and you will be refunded your registration payment minus a $35 processing fee, or you can use the registration payment for a future workshop with ChiLiving, Inc. within one year with no penalty.
If you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will not receive a refund, but the fee can be credited towards a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year. If you cancel within two days of the workshop you forfeit your full payment.
The Instructor reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the workshop, in which case you will receive a full refund.
