Join Katherine Dreyer, co-author of the ChiWalking book, Master Instructor and co-founder of ChiRunning, ChiWalking and ChiLiving, at the beautiful Well Being Retreat Center in Tazewell, TN for 3 days of ChiWalking and a ChiLiving experience.
Enjoy mostly organic, beautiful meals with many ingredients from the Well Being garden. Sink into the quiet and special, natural beauty of this unique retreat center. Covid-safe, we’ll be meeting in an outdoor pavilion by the Powell River.
This is a favorite place of Katherine’s, and a place she and her husband Danny Dreyer, co-founder of the Chi programs, frequent often for meditation and personal retreats with their dear friends and owners of Well Being, Patty and Don Oakley. Danny will be helping Don cook your food and who knows, maybe he’ll join us for some ChiWalking.
In this retreat you’ll learn the foundational practices of ChiWalking which combines walking with the ancient marital art, T’ai Chi. You’ll learn to use your core muscles to create whole body walking, reducing the stress and strain on your hips, legs, knees and feet. You’ll still look like a regular walker but you’ll be improving your posture and balance, strengthening your core, and experiencing how less effort is really better for your whole body.
Managing your energy and the flow of your Chi offers you lifelong skills for health and vitality. Sound biomechanics combined with deep listening to your body creates fluid, gentle movement that nourishes body, mind and spirit.
