Hello my ChiFriends, Walkers & Runners!!!!!
It’s so great to meet you! If we haven’t met yet, here’s a bit about myself:
I’m a runner, walker, outdoor enthusiast and love to travel and see the world from my sneakers. I live in rural Vermont and although I’m a “wanderlust runner,” I don’t always feel super connected with other runners. It’s been a dream of mine to practice, live, and love running with other like-minded people while teaching everything I know about how to do it safely, consistently, and with joy for a lifetime.
I have combined my skill sets to create various packages that provide wrap-around services to help you nail your walking and running routine while using the Chi techniques. I rely readily on my Master Level ChiRunning/ChiWalking Certification, Integrative Holistic Health Coaching Certification, and 18 years of Special Education Teaching to personalize a path for each and every walker/runner that needs my help, even if you’re not running yet. Together, we can create a customized practice that brings out the best version of you!!!
What makes my coaching different from others is that I truly take a holistic view of walking and running and make it accessible for those searching for peace, calm, and inner-strength within their practice. This is not just a training plan or a place for you to dream about becoming a consistent runner. This is a place for you to receive all of the benefits from running that you crave. And we start where you are now, with your unique skills and limitations.
I know technique, I know mindset and motivation, and I know how to facilitate habit changes and life patterns that support successful training for a lifetime, especially as we return from an injury and adapt to our ever changing and aging bodies. Twice I’ve had to pick myself up from the bootstraps and know how difficult it can be. I too am aging, and putting what I teach into practice each and every day. I’m here to help make it easy for you to develop, rekindle or revive your running routine and comfortably grow old with your running practice,

Sarah Richardson, M.S., M.Ed., is a certified educator, distance running coach through RRCA, and Master ChiWalking/ChiRunning® Instructor certified through ChiLiving. In addition to her Master ChiWalking and ChiRunning certifications, she holds credentials as a Special Educator, a Holistic Health Coach, Original Strength and Yoga Body. She is also the author of, From Sidelines to Start Lines: The Frustrated Runner’s Guide to Lacing Up for a Lifetime and has been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Running for Good. In addition, she is an outdoor enthusiast, world traveler, and Retreat Facilitator.
Sarah was honored to be a part of the Leadership Team of ChiLiving Leadership team, the parent company of ChiRunning and ChiWalking from May 2020 – November 2022. She is proud to have built the foundation upon which Katherine and Danny’s ChiWalking/ChiRunning legacy will continue. Sarah looks forward to teaching recreational runners around the globe the ChiWalking & ChiRunning techniques through her various programs and events.
