ChiWalk-Run 2 sessions

This workshop runs over 2 Wednesdays, September 25 and October 2 5:30-7:30pm

This is a highly interactive walk-and-run form workshop. We will explore ways to walk and run with less stress on your body, decreased injury risk, and less physical effort. The amount of walking and/or running will be in the form of short timed drills, where you’ll begin to feel what form changes can do for you. This class is for all levels of walkers and runners and for anyone who wants to improve their form.

• The Keys to Efficient, Injury-Prevention Running

• Chi Walking/Running versus Power Walking/Running
• How to move from your centre (dantien) as in T’ai Chi

• Injury Prevention Techniques

• Personal Check-in Tricks and Tools

• Pre-run Body Loosener’s, Post-run Stretches

• Core Muscle Drills and Exercises

• How to Conserve Energy at Any Speed

Extra add ons can be decided on during workshop:
Video Gait analysis $50
Video and written instruction reinforcement access for 3 months $60.00
Purchase both for $100

Extra add-ons:
3 month custom program for 5km or 10km walk and/or run can be added for $100/month

Cancel 14 days before the workshop and you will be refunded your registration payment minus a $35 processing fee, or you can use the registration payment for a future workshop with ChiLiving, Inc. within one year with no penalty.

If you cancel within 14 days of the workshop, you will not receive a refund, but the fee can be credited towards a future workshop purchased with Chi Living, Inc. within one year. If you cancel within two days of the workshop you forfeit your full payment.

The Instructor reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the workshop, in which case you will receive a full refund.
